Celeia is a triploid variety refined at the Institute of Hop Growing and Brewing of Slovenia in Žalec from Savinjski golding and Slovenian male hops with the aim of improving the growing properties of traditional Savinjski golding and at the same time preserving its fine hop aroma. The variety is distinguished by very good agronomic properties for hop production and harvesting. Celeia is an aromatic variety known for its fine hop aroma, pleasant and harmonious bitterness. Beer brewed with Celeia has very good organoleptic ratings for bitterness, aroma and taste.
