Styrian Eagle is a cross between European and American heritage, bred at the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing in Žalec. The variety is known for its resistance to major hop diseases and good agronomic characteristics for hop cultivation and harvesting. Styrian Eagle is an aroma variety with a high alpha acid content, which gives beer a harmonious taste and bitterness.
