Styrian Wolf is a descendant of crossbreeding between European and American heritage, bred at the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing in Žalec.
The variety is known for its good agronomic characteristics for hop cultivation and harvesting. The very name tells us that Styrian Wolf is distinguished by a very intense aromatic aroma that transfers from hop cones into beer. Together with high alpha acid content, it has very good brewing value in various types of beer.
